Chase sapphire, capital one venture x, etc…
I opened 2 just to pay my taxes and get the signup bonus. 2-3/year is probably the norm
You lose credit score when you open/close credit card. I stick with 3 credit cards overall.
Are you applying for a mortgage or car loan? If not it doesn't matter.
I don’t. It doesn’t move the needle for me.
I love the business credit cards. These are not reflected on your personal profile and does not count against 5/24. Try chase ink cards. I can share half of my referral amount too
Do you need to have a business to open business credit card?
No. I don't have one
r/churning is a good resource to learn about the rules for each credit card company and which cards to get based on your goals (points vs. cash-back)
The irony is that I got 10+ credit cards which has signon bonus points never being used. I just use the one credit card I always use 😅
What is your daily driver
Surprisingly discover...I don't have any membership fee credit cards..I just fell in love with discover's customer service and it's my first ever credit card 💳
As many as I can get through through natural spend
Any rec?
I’m working through the Amex Platinum series atm. On my third one, and so far it has been easy enough to recoup the yearly fee through their “offers” ($200 hotel credit, $200 flight credit, $ back for certain services like GlobalEntry and Clear (got my immediate fam w/ the three cards), etc), which makes the signup point bonuses straight cash back on your required spend. Depending on the bonus offers you get, you can get a min of ~11% back. You can also get more if you can transfer to a partner which you perhaps already planned to travel/stay with. 11% min is based in the Schwab Amex Plat, which allows “investing with points” at a rate of 1pt = $0.01125. At 150k Pts for 15k spend (my current deal w/ the business Plat), that works out to $1687.5 back
