How risky is it to join on receipt in my case?

I finished master's degree in CS from a state university in United States, and had f-1 visa back then. After college I was with Microsoft only under h-1b and now am intending to switch to Google. I feel like it'll fine for me to join on receipt and will probably just do so, but wanted to get some advice from folks here as well.

Honestly don’t take risk. If you still want, it’s up to you! We are 5 weeks away from Premium to start and assuming (best case) you will get decision in 1 week. So best case 6 weeks from now. See if you can talk to recruiter and hold on for 6 or 7 weeks to have peaceful life. Best of luck with whatever decision you make!!

Wait for premium to open up. If premium ban is extended, then join on receipt. Even if your H1B gets rejected, Google will place you in Singapore / EU / Canada where you will get PR sooner.
