Looks like they had another breach. Second one this year. Do they even have any security folks in there? https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/t-mobile-discloses-second-data-breach-since-the-start-of-2023/
TMo is a marketing company not a tech company. The sooner you realize that, the sooner your criteria set, for who you choose to give money to, will change
TMobile has spent a ton of time and resources to completely rebuild their security infrastructure. Complete rebuild from the ground up. From my point of view, where before security was an afterthought, it's now leading most conversations. I'm not a security expert but it's significantly improved over the last year.
They woke up really late. This year is all about security.
Moving fast to secure the company. It takes time. Shortly will be the most secure telecom out there.
Software security is an afterthought and not designed from inception. Can you imagine a Product Manager doing a threat model analysis on their feature/product?
Lots of work is being put in to make it better might be in better state by next year.
In response they are rolling our internet changes. Lots of sites will be blocked from browsing.

Seriously? Apple is DYING...These possible IPad updates are so boring *Yawn*
I have been a T-Mobile customer for almost 20 years. It's time to make a change; too much "vision," not enough security. The articles states that T-Mobile has disclosed seven other data breaches since 2018. I am so sick of these companies not protecting my data and having absolutely no consequences. Two years of data monitoring is worthless.
They let go their CISO!
