Hello, Investment rookie here. I am going to use WealthFront (Direct Indexing) What do you guys think? #personalfinance
I think you need to get a financial manager and an accountant to direct you
There goes 5%... No you probably don't need them with 100k. 100M maybe

Do not listen to this unless you're willing to lose everything for a *chance* at making it rich
^ Do not listen to this unless you’re willing to lose out on the best returns of any asset class
Depends on how advanced you want to be. If you get a brokerage account with 100k then you can take out margin against it. If you like to invest in other assets that can be very powerful

Assuming you already have an emergency savings account. Open a high yielding savings account if you don't and put a good amount in it for a rainy day/week/month/year. 5% into BTC (Sell off if reaches $90-$100k) 80% into ETFs (VOO, VDE, QQQ, VTSAX) * Never sell 15% into individual stocks * Never sell unless you made some risky investments. Keep on investing heavily and never look at your portfolio. By investing heavily you can pull a loan against your portfolio to make some life changing investments while gaining great tax breaks.
Just throw it into VTSAX and forget about it for 20 years
