Cisco enables us to WFH anytime, anywhere. Here are tips to succeed 1) Wake up at a normal time 2) Keep your routine regular (shower, breakfast, etc) 3) Go to a quiet place to work (desk, table, office) 4) You can wear pajamas if you do not do video calls 5) You can wear pajamas from the waist down if you do video calls 6) Keep a to do list of your tasks 7) Take a lunch break 8) Avoid visual distractions such as tv, video games 9) Create working spaces for teams (group chats, chain emails, etc) 10) Have touchbases with folks you normally engage in person 11) Once your EOD passes, put away the computer and resume normal life 12) Reflect on how much more productive you were, less stressed from no horrendous commute, and encourage your company to WFH more If you have to eun errands or do chores in the middle that is fine. Keep yourself available and respond via mobile. check out this blog too: https://blog.webex.com/video-conferencing/cisco-webex-supporting-customers-during-this-unprecedented-time/ #coronavirus #remotework #wfh
From one f team no WFH policy
The message was meant for those who are experiencing WFH for the first time. If your issue is internal to Cisco you should have your manager listen to the message our CEO said today. WFH if you prefer and if the manager has an issue tell Chuck.
Great theories which might work for 1 week, then you slowly start to watch YouTube videos and it's all down from there
YouTube has relevant content applicable to work. As long as you are completing your tasks and learning then you should be fine. Anyone who truly needs to be in an office and at their desk to get work done likely is not passionate about their role.
Which is the majority of people. Really how many people are passionate about their work? The human brain is designed to seek immediate pleasure. That is why porn and games and shitty ass entertainment top the charts. It is like saying: don't to college, instead study at home. it doesn't work for most people. Work and school environments force your brain to do actual work, otherwise your brain will naturally slack off

No way, in the mind of supervisor s, WFH mean no work, that's what they did.
I don’t know where you’re coming from but my team is capable of delivering wherever we are.
