Couldn't afford a PC or console till now. How do I go about building my first PC. Do I even do this, over just buying a laptop? Call it naive but it's been a dream to play PC games on my own desktop. Don't have any clue how to get started. Budget is conservative to begin with. Will be satisfied with 1080p medium settings on most recent games.
If you’re building the CPU, you’d want to study lithography. Also, I’d suggest basing it off intel’s x64 arch instead of something like IBMs PPC or something like that for compatibility.
Either you're trolling or have no idea what you're talking about.
Lol nice, thanks for responding to one of my pet peeves: how do I build a gaming "CPU"
Find a refurb professional workstation with multi core Xeon, add bad ass video card and you can get her done pretty cheaply
I used to build my own (since 1984) but went to Frys, picked the pieces and paid the $99. Does that make me a bad person? :) Seriously, Fry's doesn't have the lowest price but if you wait for them to put a key component on sale, it's a pretty good deal. Don't buy the latest CPU. There is a natural break in the price / performance curve. Video cards are ridiculously expensive at the moment.
Blind is the new search?
Study Lithography and etching
What's your budget? Let us build one out for you (on pcpartpicker).
With GPU prices where they are it is stupid to build a gaming PC. Instead consider using Gamestream service from Nvidia.
lol nice plug
Make more GPU s and drive the prices down
What is your budget? use pcpartspicker and look at other people's builds to get an idea of what you want. I built mine up last year with a gtx1080 for about 1300 or 1500. If you're really budget concious then just get an i5 with gtx1060 or whatever amd has, and 16 GB ram.
