How to escape the L1B rat race
I moved to SF recently with L1B from UK and I already feel stupid because it looks like there’s no path forward to not being stuck with Google. I lost the H1B lottery, and it looks like it’s a big chance I never win it in 5 years (knowing it was 10% and it goes down every year). I also play GC lottery every year but unlucky. I also tried to apply to EB2-NIW but lawyer told me to gtfo even though I have a master of science in comp sci. Google does not sponsor through PERM because of recent mass layoffs too. What are my other possibilities I might have missed? Am I cooked? TC: 330K YoE: 3 German citizen (IDK how it would help)
No you’re not fucked. Start the perm process you will get your GC within 5 year L1B

Sorry for unrelated question, but how did you get L1 transfer with 3 YoE? Is it that easy in UK Google, or you have unique skills?

How does it work, did you get a new grant? How can your TC be so high, 330k is max band for a L4
I know how frustrating your situation is. I resolved it by marrying a US citizen (this year marks 10th anniversary ) Honestly I don't know other ways. Good luck..
