H1s are hard to get. I wonder if I could ask/persuade company to make EB-3 visa instead. Any HR people here or anyone who has relevant experience? Me: Web SDE 6y exp. from EU. Upd: Don't get me wrong, I researched this question. From my perspective paperwork for H1 is as complex as EB. So EB is even better because there is no visa cap and backlog(at least for my nationality)
There is no EB3 or EB2 visa. EB is employment based green card process. H1b is most preferred and probably only dual intent visa. Australians and Singaporeans can be on different visa than h1b. Ask you manager/hr to start green card process.
There is EB-3[0] and EB-2[1] visa. You get GC before you get to US. EB's are immigration visas. Employer has to do same paperwork as when you transfer from H1. That's not a visa even though site is calling it visa. It's a category your employer/attorney will choose when filing GC. You can't be admitted to the US on eb3/eb2. Talk to an immigration attorney.
Marry an American and you won't be held hostage by the company
Not an option. I my wife is EU citizen.
Work in the EU.
Idiot
Kota, are you an idiot too, my buddy?
Nope. Thanks for confirming that you are an idiot!!
You are wrong

Absolutely no employer will sponsor a green card and wait 1-2 years for your I140. Unless you are some insanely talented engineer the maybe
