Okay this is a very rookie question... a headhunter reached out to me via LinkedIn about tech roles in trading firms in New York or Chicago (think two sigma). I don’t think he looked through my profile carefully because I am currently in an online masters in computer science while working full time. I’m really excited about the opportunity but I’m not confident at all about my chances at the interviews because I have done literally 0 leetcode so far. Should I still move forward with the process or tell him that I’ll reach out to him later?
Sounds like radix to me
Connect with them, thank them and go through the interview it is good practice. Or, if you don’t want to be put in interview cool down periods, thank the recruiter and keep in touch until needed.
Thanks 🙏
