How to stay on blind post layoff?
Asking for a friend whose company may have some headcount reduction next week… This community rocks and has helped me a lot in switching my last 3 jobs. It would be much harder to find a job without being plugged in. But layoff == no more company email. How can we stay plugged in?
Just don’t ever change your phone/tablet/laptop/desktop you used to Blind. Not till you find another job. That’s provided META don’t pull a TWTR to log you out from all device
Blind kicked me out and made me reverify last time I switched jobs. Never have company device for personal use
Why you use Blind on companies asset?
Sign in blind on your personal computer and phone before you are laid off.
Don’t log out
User your managers email and login with that.
I have my blind from a previous employer still, it’s fine
I heard that Meta forces Blind reverification for ex employees, maybe through https://www.blindappvalidation.com/ as part of the offboarding process internally No way around it. Unless they pull an Elon and layoff the team in charge of offboarding.
