How to stop thinking about NW
6 years ago I had $20k net worth, 150k salary, and was enjoying life without issues, paying education for sister, great trips, clothing, food. After joining FAANGs, now Amazon TC 360 NW 700k, I cant buy trips to visit family or spend money on anything. I am always thinking about NW, FIRE, and it is preventing me and my family from enjoying life. Any suggestion? I want to stop eating walmart brand cereal and have Kelloggs
I feel the same. There was no Blind 6 years ago or Blind was not so popular. I don't however fret or worry about getting Kellogs or GV cereals or other items. That's Penny pinching.
All I can say is tomorrow is guaranteed to no one !
Realize that most people on blind are resentful, mediocre wageslaves working on stuff no one cares about, obsessing over marginal increases in compensation. This app is only useful for the anonymous internal company chat and occasional interview preparation tips, apart from that it’s a toxic cesspool of negativity.

Yea, if you think twice about groceries, then you will do it no matter how high your NW is! Penny pinching doesn't make one a high NW individual!
