Keep it in 'murica 🇺🇸
Layoff based on product/project
Your management chain will decide whether to keep you or kick out but not broadcom. Broadcom will just give count per product provided product is survived in the first place
What if half of your team is in a lower cost country? I'd imagine US folks would be targets due to our salaries.
High cost will be targeted first, which doesn’t mean avg employees (according to your management) could get away just being in low cost area.
Based on how profitable your business is and your job function.
It's all on management, your manager will get super powers in Broadcom world provided your group is good in earnings.
i was part of a previous acquisition Broadcom did (brocade) . They just laid off people working on products that broadcom didnt want to take on . Of course there were exceptions .
Any idea on web mktg Org ? Will it survive. Doesn’t want VMware.com?
