Left LinkedIn a while ago due to shitty culture and no chance for internal transfer. What about now? Is it getting better? Do we have more internal mobility? Still have forced pip? Would consider boomerang if culture improved as I still missed the people and nice TC
Guess the grass isn’t always greener eh?
No internal mobility (you have to go through full application as an external candidate), no yearly refreshers, business is not hitting all core 4 metrics, top down pressure, constant reorgs and priority shifts, shipping projects off to India, 10% pip quota, impending layoffs.. this is unfortunately the truth.
What are the 4 core metrics?
Still 10% pip?
Poor WLB
why do you think culture would be different now when the people who introduced the culture are still there and doing well ? secondly can you trust your former employer at any stage if you were backstabbed earlier when they had the chance. after i was backstabbed by my managers and unfairly stack ranked, i promptly resigned. linkedin tried to hire me back to which they got deserved response 🖕 p.s. drpldb’s response confirms my guess about linkedin. nothing has changed since i left.
Hey man how’s your life in Meta vs LinkedIn? Also I have perm need and I heard Meta still has hard time sponsoring green card perm?
