A friend is moving to Jackson, Mississippi. From the looks of it appears to be a cheap state. How's the market there? Does it make sense to buy a house there? Any areas where it's easier to rent once they move out from the State? #housing #mississippi #move
Schools are the biggest driver in where to move. If your friend does not have school age kids they will find plenty to choose from. Houses rarely stay in the market long around here. Rankin or Madison county should be their target.
They're looking for houses by Clark builders in localities called, Silver ridge, Patrick farms and Long leaf. Do you happen to have any idea about them if you're local

Flowood looks like a good option. Did you rent your house after moving out?
