Shares have come in quite aggressively, even more so than other names in the tech space. How are employees feeling about the current state of the company? I'm actually thinking this is a great time to jump in and started adding today. The only worry is that Snap may need to raise additional capital with only $2B in cash and equivalents.
I think they will be profitable this year or next, and then be self sustaining.
I think they are going good gicen that they were at $5 last year.
Most employees probably cashed out when it 3x this year in January
🙃
Doesn't tiktok beat snap as well? In every Facebook thread people tell about TikTok, but in Snap threads people pretend that they aren't competitors.
😂😂😂
Isn’t sizable portion of compensation in company stock? Yes it will hit net income, but not cash flows. I would say the cash balance is enough to coast for a year.
Yes but its also sizably large.
A 50% drop in comp still means someone is getting paid more at Snap than someone at a semiconductor business or slower laid back companies like Cisco.
Can’t speak for the entire company, but my team and engineers I know are bullish. We’re (like everyone) incredibly undervalued rn, arguably more so than other tech firms. We’ve reaffirmed that we’re having no layoffs, instead trying to hire. Come on board!
Could you give me a referral for ML/DS roles?
Morale is good, but sorry can't give you stock advice!
Are you trying to go to Snap?
Talking stonks, but it may also be a good time to join the company
