Hey blinders, I have a final on site for Snap coming up in a couple of weeks. Need some tips from this amazing community!! especially those who went through the process. This is specifically for an MLE role with 1+years of experience. They said 5 interviews (4 technical / 1 behavior). Didn't say exactly how many coding or system design. Also, anybody have any great preference on where I can learn system design? I've been looking at grokking and systemexpert. Any help is much appreciated!!! Yoe: 1.5 years TC: 120k Thanks again everyone!! #engineering #software #Interviews #onsite #ml #machinelearning #machinelearningengineer
How was the phone screen?
Not too bad, just 1 LC medium and some behavior question
Is it from LC tagged questions?
Hi op how was your snap onsite. What were they focusing on majorly?
I had 5 interviews for the ML role. 2 system design (1 ML system and 1 general), 2 coding (both utilizing ML techniques), and 1 behavior. I had my onsite 3 weeks ago. Didn't pass :( Good luck on yours!
Hey @byeworld, can you please elaborate on the ML system design round a little bit? Is it a deep dive into ML algorithms and techniques or high level design of an ML system?
How long did you hear back from the HR after the onsite?
1 week :)
Hey OP! Could you share what was your system design interview like? Not the ML one but the other one? Was it grokking style question or something else?
Hey OP! Thanks a lot for your responses. In the onsite coding rounds, were you asked LC Hards or were they more towards ML based questions? Like the max pooling one you got in the phone interview?
Interested to here your experience
Hey and yeah no problem! I'll update when time comes :)
