In my case, pros: privacy, feel like my identity has been concealed from rest of the world. Cons: none that I can think of, thus asking others.

Do you mean one of the Amazon recruiters that message you daily, or the body shops seeing if you’re interested in a low-paying contract? The noise to signal ratio isn’t good.
I think they mean the ones that straight up read like a scam: Hey, caught a glance at your profile… I think you’d be the perfect fit for a gig at one of the top paying firms in {city.name}. We can have the whole process done in a few days if you just give me a number to call here. Interested?
No, you need to keep reading those cringe stories and your friends’ promotions to keep motivated
You also need to be reminded of those old posts that you already viewed 100 times
It’s a good thing to hibernate. If you already have a good offer and you are satisfied, it’s all good,
LinkedIn is good for making feel good about your work posts, posting unpopular edgy opinions and networking with random people if you’re unfamiliar with a company.
