I am so tired of people trying to misrepresent Palestinian plight for independence /s

Palestine was always there. The reason is not mentioned in any historical books or facts, or lack of any archeological findings is because first there was a Palestine, then everything else. Jerusalem is of most importance for Palestinians and Islam. The fact it is not once mentioned in the Quran just amplifies how important it is - like in Harry Potter, some names not to be spoken off! There is one ancient fact going back to Roman empire - when they expelled Jews from the region, they renamed Judea and Samariah to Palestine. Please disregard the fact they expelled the Jews - as mentioned above, Palestinians were already there first. British mandate of Palestine? A mere blip in the history when Palestinians subcontracted the British to run the place for them while they immigrated there from Egypt, Syria and Lebanon in the start of the 20th century. Being an economic immigrant is a full time job, one cannot govern the country at the same time. There is a British map showing a place called as Palestine. Please ignore the fact it also spells the name in English and Hebrew and created by British government, this was done in purpose to warn English and Jewish people from settling there. Another proof is a British coin saying Palestine on it in arabic. Alongside are the Hebrew and English names. See previous points for an explanation. It is not true that Palestinians rejected all peace deals. It's just neither the Peel commission offer in 1938, UN partition plan in 1947, and neither of the multiple peace offers in late 1990s and 2000s by multiple US and Israel governments were good enough. It is completely true that Israel inflicted catastrophe on Palestinian people in 1948. The fact that it happened after war of aggression by Arab countries coming from 4 directions is irrelevant. In fact, more catastrophes to follow in 1967 and 1973 when Arab countries attacked again and again. More catastrophes unfold as we speak as Israel just refuses to die. Israeli apartheid on Palestinians is very real. Never mind that they are not part of Israel or Israeli citizens and do not fall under actual definition of Apartheid. Israeli genocide on Palestinians is cruel and unjustified. Fortunately, it is also very unsuccessful as in 75 years Palestinian population is the fastest growing population on earth (x5).  Flight of 700K Palestinian refugees from Israel in 1948 following a lost war is an act of genocide and ethnic cleansing. The disappearance of Jews from all of the Arab world (1M expelled, 750K managed to make it into Israel) is an act of mass immigration though. Israeli war crimes against Palestine are abundant. Too bad they were never proven in court. Must be because the Hague court is run by Zionists with such ominous names as Khan and Bensouda who support the Israel regime. Palestinian journalism is always neutral and truthful because all media correspondents are local Palestinians and live in Gaza and know well what's really going on. The death toll in current conflict in Palestine is horrendous, thankfully it is minimized by multiple acts of resurrection that we can witness from time to time on youtube and X videos Again, hail to the Gaza journalists for inadvertently showing us these miracles of the resurrecting bodies. It is a lie that Palestinians support terrorism and Hamas/PIJ. The parade of naked and mutilated Israeli bodies on October 7th coincided with the national Gaza holiday which included cheering, handing candies and overall shoutings of peaceful slogans such as "Death to the Jews", which should not be taken literally as they are a century old tradition. Palestinian demonstrators and supporters across the world are a peaceful, libertarian movement which is only burning striped and starred textile to warm themselves up in the inclement weather of their cruel hosting countries. When they shout Free Palestine from River to the Sea they don't mean killing or genocide of all Jews , they are just calling for a miracle which will make 8M people to disappear. Finally, "Gas the Jews" slogan used in several of these demonstrations is calling for laugh gas treatment to cheer the Jews and Israelis after a holocaust type of event happened on Oct, 7th which Palestinians had nothing to do with. I hope it is now clear for all that Palestine is a real ancient nation, diversified and democratic country of loving and pragmatic people. All they want is peace and co-existence alongside their other Muslim brothers, in a flourishing state created by the Jews, just without the latter.

You forgot about how ALL the current conflicts in the ME https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_modern_conflicts_in_the_Middle_East aren't due to a dangerous, hateful, death cult ideology, but instead are simply Israel's fault

Great post. You just missed the fact that Palestine was named Palestine in plenty of history books. Heck it was named on the same map on an old bible!

Also important to note that in old references to "Israel", it didn't mean the land where the state of Israel is today, but the people of Jacob. Jacob == Israel.

DYK 100 years ago the people who identified as Palestinians were Jews?

Meta cKyK18 Nov 1, 2023

Yess! They also forget that any criticism of Israel is a crime against humanity. This makes you a terrorist and anti-Semitic. Israel doesn't make mistakes, Israel is light, Israel is the definition of truth and morality. If you disagree, you are ISIS

Palestine was never there, not the way the word is used today. There was an Ottoman province called Palestine but it included Syria and Jordan with a capital in Damascus. Under that definition we already have two Palestinian states, so that's not it. If you go back before that you go through successiveb foreign empires that were all foreign to the region. The Mamluks controlled and we Muslims but were hostile towards the residents of the area, for example. The truth is that the Arabs did not distinguish a different culture living in different sides of the imaginary lined drawn by the British. "Syria", "Jordan" and "Iraq" are equally made up countries. There were people there, sure, but not very many either. Arab migration into the current area of Israel largely occured during the Zionist era because the incoming Europeans brought lots of money and jobs into the area and lots of Arabs migrated in to participate in the thriving economy. So while there were certainly Arabs in Palestine they are not even the ancestors of most of the current Arabs there, and nobody thought anything of that because in those days moving from "Syria" to "Palestine" wasn't seen as moving between different countries or cultures.
