What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Check out r/mscs, you'd think there are sooo many jobs lmao. Although it's mostly the tier 3 or WITCH people but still.
There are still 2 years before they graduate. Things might be better by then
Hey OP, are there jobs after MSCS or not? I have a GeorgiaTech MSCS admit and a 40 LPA job offer in blr. Which one do you suggest.
40lpa. There are people who applied for 1k jobs with no luck. They're in telgu consultancies now. These are bright people from top iits mind you.
Thanks OP
Georgia tech is a fantastic uni. You should go if the financial burden is not crippling you. Just make sure you bust your ass off and study something cool and new, maybe related to AI. After 2 years, there’s a decent chance the market improves.
Not Indian but I heard my Indian coworkers tell me MSCS is a scam. Basically the US is taking advantage of international students is what I heard. Hell, I felt like my bachelor degree was a scam. I can't imagine paying international tuition rates.
They don't get jobs in India. The sad reality of the India is that the ratio of new grads who get jobs is actually quite low. The ones that can afford it come here those who can't end up sucking it up at WITCH. The smart ones who are good enough end up getting great jobs in India.
true
Yeah but what will they do in the US with a huge loan and companies that aren't willing to hire let alone sponsor visa.
