I can’t apply for an engineer or coding role as I have no experience in it. I’m assuming tech companies hire other roles as well. I don’t know what type of roles those are, I’m asking those who are already in the non tech roles for help.

Sorry if my question is confusing. I admire companies like Facebook and the mission it stands for. I would like to see what options, if any, are available to me.

Let me know what you find out. My girlfriend studies the same field and is currently in school. Wonder if any of it translates to tech company work

I have been researching, it helps when someone is able to do a referral. So I hear.

Consider learning up on cloud computing technology and apply to customer facing roles. Azure, AWS, GCP all have decent TC and job flexibility that lets you work remotely as well often. Cloud Architects, Account Execs, TAMs, Sales Engineers etc. have plenty of openings and I see people with non-coding backgrounds thriving if they put the effort into it

Maybe you can get a operation role. Or just go into sales. Work a shitty tech sales job for a year and make a transition to a better company
