(30s) 99% of the revenue is from Snapchat. 1% from Spectacles (whatever that is) What Is Snapchat The actual Snapchat app allows users to share images and videos with friends and followers. Snaps, as they are called, are short-lived, with Snap Stories only being available for 24 hours. Users can delete Snaps at any time. The purpose is to encourage more natural interactions with people. Snapchat's target audience is a younger audience base. Thirteen percent of users as of October 2021 are 13 to 17-year-old females. Males comprised 9% of Snapchat users within that same age bracket. While there is still a wide usage of the app with those ages 18 to 34, there is a significant drop past this age. Snap's Business Model Snapchat does not charge users to be on the platform and there is no premium subscription service. The majority (99%) of Snap Inc.'s income comes from online advertising on Snapchat with 1% coming from the sale of Snap Spectacles. Spectacles 3 are currently selling for $380 a pair #snap
