I have failed interviews at Microsoft Amazon Databricks Twitch Robinhood And then I did Blind 75 over the course of 3 weeks and took time to understand it And I have passed all of interviews thereafter including Google Meta Netflix So I think Blind 75 is all you need
True but also proves you must have gotten lucky to get into Google.
It’s all the same few strategies, just learn to recognize the patterns
There are lot of hard questions which are often asked in interviews which blind 75 doesn’t cover, like median of sorted array. Largest rectangle in Histogram etc.
Those are hard?
Yeah imo both are hard and require maths gotcha technique for optimal solution.
Hard disagree. Blind 75 is helpful though. A lot of the company specific questions are designed in such a way that the only way to solve them is to have solved the exact problem before hand. Some solutions are just impossible or really difficult to make a proof for in 45 mins. Blind 75 is a really good start, but by no means an end.
Yep, if you interview at Meta and get pow(x, n) and are expected to use binary exponentiation to solve it optimally in 20mins, you’re done for unless you’ve seen it before. No one is aware of binary exponentiation before seeing that problem, and if you say otherwise, 🧢
Amazon, I agree and do you see that pow(x, n) is tagged easy isn't it? if interviewers also tend to look at the LC tags, we are all screwed unless we get lucky to get a question you have seen before.
Ya good luck solving Best meeting point in 20mins when you first see it
That looks like a medium dressed as hard. Leetcode 75 is good enough for people that are good thinkers, if you don’t have good problem solving skills even if you do 500 questions you’ll still fail. Do yourself a favor and don’t memorize solutions.
Figuring out the median solution is an indicator that you are a good thinker?
When did you fail and pass these interviews?
What a load of crap. This guy is on his way to PIP in GCP, I guess.
OP, why did you chose Google over Meta, Netflix? Wasn't that the lowest TC offer?
Maybe I’m just unlucky, in my experience all the big tech companies have asked questions notably harder than blind 75
For what level/years of experience... can't just say that for every role. Entry level? Mid level? Senior level?
My most recent experience was for mid level. (E4 meta/L5 Amazon)
