Google was beyond a dream for me. It was so unrealistic that I didn’t even bother imagining it. But here I am somehow. I didn’t even study CS. I was really bad at it when I took a single course in Java in college 15 years ago I gave up until recently. But it gives me massive appreciation of what I have now. You just gotta sit back sometimes and think, damn what would my young self think if they knew I were a SWE at Google? I’d probably think there’s nothing more in life to ask for. Some times it’s good to be happy with enough. I hope all of you chasing that dream attain it and just bask in it once you get there. If you’re already there, remember to appreciate what you have daily. 245K
If you dint study cs how did you pass the coding interview - any prep material you would recommend?
Curious, have you been a SWE your entire career?
I wish I were just as naive as you 😅
Give him/her couple months.
Good luck!!!
You happy, me happy!!! Dont listen to perpetually depressed crab people on blind, good for you op, enjoy 😊
That's adorable. Now stop thinking that and Leetcode to get a better job. If you consider a company a dream, they always underpay you because they can
Was is a wet dream ?
This is how I feel. Hope to join you soon 🙏
