Out of all the consulting companies which one is still traveling to client sites most often. I know it varies from team to team but have ya’ll seen travel to cool client sites. I had some buddies that went to Portland to work at Nike HQ and Seattle to work at Boeing HQ. I really wanna travel again in consulting and work for notable companies. Which company is offering this the most out of these big consulting companies. Accenture, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, PWC, and big 3.
Where are you based out of? I used to work Big 4 at a major city and a Partner called dibs on me before my start date because he had a local client and it was cheaper to bill me without travel expenses. Ended up pidgeonholed there. You might have little leverage on when and where you travel. If you like travel, opt for remote with Big Tech. You’ll earn 2-3 times the TC and you can use that to travel and have plenty left over. You can also leverage corporate code to get major discount on hotels
East coast
So you didn’t get to travel at all bc the partner made you work for him?
Accenture has travel again but it depends on client and field
Deloitte...
At D it also depends on the client and the type of work being done. I’ve been traveling with my current client, but it’s not every week.
It depends on client
Big dependency on project and client. But there are travel opportunities that come through alot.
