I797 approval notice physical copy
Fragomen confirmed they got the approval notice email but yet to recieve physical copy. How long does it take for uscis to send the physical copy? Does fragomen send the physical copy directly to the employee? Does it go to employer first and employee has to pick it up from them? Is it safe to put your notice without looking at the details on the approval notice?
1.5 week for me. They asked for my mailing address and it didn’t have to go through the employer. I feel it’s pretty safe, since that form should be much the same for everyone. I’m not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.
Yea it took them 1-2 weeks.. don’t worry they will send you once they receive it.
Yeah it goes to the lawyers first and then to you. Just double check that you have given them your home address and not work address. Lawyers don’t really know about your status with the company so if you give the notice also it should be fine. I got lucky and received my physical copy in 3 days.
Stay on top of them. Fragomen 'forgot' to send my approval notice for three months. I inquired after a month, they said I should be patient. Did it again a month later bc I have to renew my license and they gave me some line about trying to use the email to renew. Work sent a note about needing to update my authorization another month later which I forwarded to Fragomen and magically they "found" the paperwork which was stamped as received three months ago. Keep on them.
