Getting IBM offer CTC with 40L INR, 14L sign-on bonus. In that 16L is basic and renaming is Flexible benefit. But at my current employer the Base itself is 24L and 2L bonus and RSU of 15L INR. Do we really need to care on basic being lower than current employer? Will it create any impact in future switch ? This is first move. When you switch to any other org variable pay or flexible benifits aren't considered for pay matching. It's only base that matters but there are cases where without checking current pay they release offers as per their comp structure
