IBM just announced that their PPO plans will cover only in-network providers starting in 2019. Is this common among other employers?
Man IBM is the shittist of the company - employees portion of monthly healthcare payment for self +spouse + 3 kids was over $1100 (2015). With shitty BCBS PPO plan. When I joined a unicorn startup, it went down to less than $200/month with platinum coverage. IBM sucks get good experience and move out of there.
They can’t call it that nurx45 because we still have the EPO plan and because there are exceptions for out of network coverage on the PPO such as distance to an in network provider.
Microsoft is adding a shit plan this year. Still have the old ones for now
