IPhone or Samsung?
I need to buy a new phone, and I can't make a decision. Do I buy IPhone 14 plus or Samsung s23 + or Samsung s23 ultra? Help please? And if you can tell me why or give me your feedback, that would be great! Update: So, I got the S23 ultra ( 49% for s23 ultra 42% for IPhone 14 plus, and I've never been more disappointed with a phone. To try the camera, I went out and took pictures with three different phones: IPhone 13, Huawei 2019 (pro or sth like that) and the s23 ultra. IPhone pictures were way better, the colors, details, the depth of the picture and waaay much less noise. At certain pictures the Huawei did better than the Samsung s23 ultra! So frustrated, and did the mistake and got it from the Samsung experience shop, because I was going to buy the S23 plus just because of the design and the feel of the phone, they showed me phone cases with round edges. So I went for the ultra. When unboxing, found out the cases had sharp edges, went back to the shop, they said, the ones round edges are for the S23 plus, we confused them. And won't return them! Never ever buying Samsung! And the for the zoom, so much noise you can't post the picture anywhere!!

What were you using before? It’d be kind of dumb if you’ve been with one ecosystem for a long time and then switch. Personally iPhone is still my choice due to security and I bough a bunch of app related things that I don’t want to pay again.
Android security is just as good if not better than iPhone in almost all categories of the latest Gartner report. Fair point on the apps though, that's something that is a real thing that creates stickiness in the platform.
Buy cheaper Android phone like Motorola($200) and change it every year ,don’t waste too much money.

Do you need the super zoom and 200 MP pixel camera? If you do, S23 ultra. Do you need iMessage? If you do, iPhone. If you don’t need above two but you like the AMOLED screen, S23+
Would you be interested in Pixel? It's def within budget. Stock android at it. Nothing fancy otherwise.

The s23 ultra unless you don't like the size then the s23+. However the ultra with 512gb has 12gb RAM and will be more future proof than the plus and the screen has LTPO which helps with battery life
