If FB gave you offer at Current TC, would you take it?
I’m debating whether it’s worth taking this FB offer, it’s around the same TC as my current role but to me it seems like FB is a bit of a sinking ship? Seems like every day there is some big story of FB messing up. Also stock is down and I don’t know how likely it will be that they will get back to their previous levels. Also the product is pretty uninspiring, which is my other hesitation. Only positive I see is potential brand/resume value, but it seems like even today that is going down? At least compared to previous years. TC: 230k, YoE: 5 years

Yes. I think facebooks stock can double in price in the next 2 years. Once fb fixes the security problems it will be a cash cow. The reality is this company is a pioneer of social media and marketing through it. No competitor can scale to fb’s size without also getting into legal trouble. That’s why I’m doubling down on my stocks in this time with them and would also recommend working for them especially if they throw you a ton of stocks in this ill time
Once they fix the security problems which no one at the company will acknowledge they have. Its all the media's fault, it isnt any worse than Equifax, google steals your data too and myriad other excuses.
Where are you now? I love fb, but go to Amazon if you like working hard. Or if you also want good stock prices along with the social justice walkouts, go to Google.

I would reject that without a second thought unless you absolutely have to get out of your current situation. They need to beat your current comp by a respectable margin.
Don’t fall for the media fad. It’s all artificial and temporary. The stock will rebound. They still own some hidden treasures that are not yet monetized (Instagram and WhatsApp).
Social products are fickle as hell.
No one expects significant changes in affection in the next 3-4 years.
There are many deciding factors here. Are you happy with your current role and boss? Do you see yourself getting promotion or career growth in your current role? Are you still learning? Are you making impact? Are you being appreciated by your boss and others? Is your company growing? Is the commute going to be better? Are you okay with fb wlb? If everything is better at fb except TC, I’ll still take it. If not, then I’ll stay.

It has lost its charm for sure. If you’re from a tier 3 and lower then sure moving there is indeed good. If not then I wouldn’t do
