I'm setting up myself to have a new job in 2023

Currently, I work for JPMC as a SWE and I enjoy everything I do. There's nothing really bad for me to say about my job other than Compensation and maybe RTTO. I can work from home if I ask my manager, and it has always been a yes without questions ask. I enjoy sometimes working at the office for some environmental change. I have 3 YOE and my TC is 126K (base is 107k and bonus is 19k) in Texas. I had great opportunities to learn, I'm certified in Aws and CKAD. All pay by JPMC. My resume has gain really good pointers. I am still having good opportunities at JPMC to keep growing Now I want to find a job that can pay me at least 160k after taxes and I can work remotely Full-time. Maybe an option to visit the office if I want to. WLB is a must as in my current position it is excellent. I literally can ask off a day or two without asking for PTO. I can login at whatever time if needed. Though I don't abuse it, I only do it when I really need to. I want to work for a company that I likely get hired by a team where I keep learning from them and they value me as I am valued today. I wear many hats in my position which has allowed me to be recognized multiple times by upper management and stake holders. I am trusted with big tasks and I deliver in time. Sometimes I had slack and overdue my deliveries, but it is because in the path for completion I found something else to do which in return it is valuable for my management that my over due deliveries are exempt for performance issues. I don't crave a MAANG job. I am not a fan of RSUs and I rather have full cash TC. Also, being in a company than can PIP just because the teammates don't like me is absurd. I will consider any positions at these companies only if I know I won't be PIPped easily and TC is more in cash. I put around 60hours of work a week because I do a lot of things within and out of sprint but everything is reported and it counts. I want a job I can put at least 30 to 40 hours a week allowing to do what I do now. Work with side projects, sprint tasks, and off sprint tasks. At the end less time should be spent because whatever I am ask to be done for the sprint does not require more than 20 hours of development effort. What companies should I consider? I am studying leetcode, system design, software architecture, and brushing off my data structures and algorithms knowledge. What else should I consider for the companies you recommend? Am I even asking the right questions? #tech #LC #jobhunt #jobs #swe #remote #chillabit #jpmorganchase

I get pay by pooping a lot. You can see why WLB is a must. I gotta poop often. Can't help my bowel movements

RSU is the same as cash, but better!

If you don’t like getting paid in stock but want a high TC number, that leaves you with Netflix (high base salary) or prop shops (high bonus). WLB at Netflix is bad and prop shops are probably hit or miss in that regard. Not sure what the WFM allowance is at these places but it’s likely you’d have to come into the office multiple days per week. DM me if you’re interested in a role at Sailpoint, compensation is halfway decent for a 100% remote job, and it hits on most of your desires depending on what salary you’re targeting. With 3 yoe you can expect a salary in the 130-150k range if you get hired as a senior engineer. Not amazing compared to the top end salaries you see here but ok in the grand scheme of things.

IBM meets your requirements can pay at least $160k for full-time remote and very chill WLB. I get away with less than 20 hours a week and am never stressed. But honestly you should aim higher like $300k at a better company.
