Implementation Associate Interview

Hi Everyone, I have McKinsey interview lined up for implementation associate position. Need help on what are helpful resources to practice case interviews. McKinsey career site have only 4 of them. Not sure where to look for more practice. Never interviewed before with any consulting firm, so not really sure on case studies. Thank you #consulting #mckinsey

Going through the same process. They recently increased the number of cases on the McKinsey site. Also RocketBlocks and CraftingCases have been great supplements.

Thank you, do you recommend any typical no such as may be 20 or 40 cases. It’s very hard to track progress as I don’t have anyone from consulting to practice with. Do you think 2-4 weeks are enough to prepare before Round 1. How one can know if they are ready?

You can find online casebooks from MBA schools if you search online. E.g. Wharton consulting casebook etc

Thank you, I found couple of them but it contains over 100s of cases. Not sure which cases are McKinsey specific and which ones are not. Since McKinsey follows different structure, I’d like to focus on McKinsey type cases if there are any identifiable clues as such

McKinsey ones are more structured are focused on idea generation and structured thinking in my opinion (Mck cares more about structure than other firms). All cases are applicable tho, in terms of industry etc...a mix of profit improvement, market entry, m and a etc.
