College rank does not matter here it seems like, and the focus is more on experience. Why even try in India if you’re moving here, especially if your USA MS is a cash cow program that accepts all.
Now what exactly is ur problem 😅
University exams evaluate you on different parameters than what is required in workplace. That's why your university scores have no correlation to work. And it has nothing to do with USA. Same will happen in India if there are enough opportunities.
Exactly this. It has nothing to do with USA or India. Basically practical skills vs people who do well on bookish stuff
Are you a backbencher or a topper? A power backbencher?
I can understand your problem. US is land of opportunity, so yes end of day your college and academic excellence do not really matter, those without them are also successful. Think of it this way. If you are smart and/or put in lot of hard work you will end up much better than else where.
You're a backbencher in English. So hard to understand what you are trying to say
This is true. In fact they're coming up with a spherical design for classrooms such that the people in the back won't ever see the blackboard ever
Why do you think that topper and backbenchers are mutually exclusive? My friend was the topper and he hardly attended classes. At the end it’s all about consistency in the different phases of life.
We have had toppers who used to sit in back bench exclusively, also being in USA don't mean you have a good life compared to people who chose to stay in India or any other country . it's all about how happy you are .
As a backbencher it’s fun being promoted past the IIT kids that think they’re hot shit. Imagine being stressed throughout your childhood just to be outperformed by someone whose only real skill is talking
I’m from tier 1 and all around me doing well are from tier3+
