In unit washer/dryer vs shared
Looking for an apartment. Found one where it has what I want or I can live with (top floor, dishwasher, N/S facing windows, near bus stop etc) except one thing... It's a shared laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers. Not sure how well that will go.. Anyone have experience/opinions? Is it worth having in unit laundry? Is there some life hack to doing laundry without in-unit appliances?#seattle

In-unit is better anyday as u can just wash clothes/bedding whenever u like.. I used to change my sheets regularly when I had in-unit washer..
You can buy a 110v washer dryer combo with no plumbing hookups, no vent. Don't use the shared ones, they either suck or broken.

How does it take 4 hours? I have an LG washer and dryer and I can do a full load, start to finish, in under 2.

There’s portable dryers too (just plug into wall and run a vent pipe out the window). Nothing worse than needing to do laundry and finding that you have no quarters or that all the machines are taken.
