Have an “action” folder I drag all of my emails that need action into. Move them back into inbox or delete when action is done.
[Outlook] -Utilize Archive folder and subfolders (ex: Customers, Briefing Docs, Hiring, Expenses, etc.) -Flag critical items and keep in inbox to close on that day -Set reminders in calendar -(Try) to schedule dedicated time to work (with dedicated project or action item for the block, or several smaller tasks in the calendar description as reminders) -Audit your Archive quarterly or yearly -Use color categories in your calendar. Helps if you're checking between meetings (ex: team meeting vs customer meeting or dedicated focus time)
