Is it better to work at Indeed or Linkedin? Which company has better WLB, Tech stack, TC, etc?
Indeed
I guess fist fight it is Meet me at the playground during recess and let’s put an end to this
🍿
LinkedIn and how is this difficult?
Indeed has by far the best wlb
Lol! You don't know about Linkedin WLB then. I have a friend there. He hardly works for 20 hrs a week!
Haha why is this even a question? In terms of comp and growth, LinkedIn is much much better. In terms of WLB most likely indeed.
WLB at LinkedIn is so chill sometimes I forget I have a job.
Speak for yourself, purell
No matter how you say it, Linkedin indeed or indeed Linkedin, you know the answer
Best post I have seen today!
Aren’t you a clever one
Surprised to see the poll lean so heavily towards us. Indeed people seem pretty happy overall whenever I see a post from someone.
We aren't
I am 🤷
//let them fight (Godzilla reference)
Indeed is dope. Only complaint is lower TC
Cool, I like it
Indeed is a job board. LinkedIn is also a social network on top of being a job board. There are way more challenging problems at LinkedIn than Indeed. I don’t have anything negative to say about Indeed but they’re really not comparable. Also I’m pretty sure Indeed is actually kicking our butt in the jobs business, at least in some countries.
Biggest competitor to LTS. LI has 4 other business units.
not just a job board,, Indeed is also an aggregator
Indeed is weighed down by tech debt and incompetent old timers. Easy work, great WLB, and decent career progression until IC3, then the people who want to progress leave and the people who don't coast. Decent leadership and we haven't had major layoffs, so we have that going for us.
This is pretty accurate, if you just care about WLB don’t need high compensation, want to coast and if an engineer you can tolerate really poor / inconsistent architecture and tech debt heavy codebases (understatement) ... indeed is for you
Luckily a lot of the underlining infrastructure has had big pushes in recent times to modernize. (Not referring to code bases)
