I worked at TCS as a Senior Director and at Amazon as a Director before my current position. It’s an open secret in the management circles of consulting companies that India does not mind if Indians become Green Card holders. Indian companies and the Indian government often lobby against any legislation aimed at ending the H-1B trap. Singapore and Chile have lobbied for visas for their citizens as part of Free Trade Agreements. I see some Indians lobbying to end h1b trap but they don’t stand against Indian government and consulting company lobby. I see hatred against h1b in this app but actually Indians end up staying in USA as visa holders for longest time and endure tougher life than people from other countries who come here on visa. You’re calling out life is unfair, it is.
This is exactly what I tell them when americans complain that indians only hire other indians.
Completely agree... Also Indians hire other nationalities as well....
TCS and Infosys business will be destroyed if H1B trap got removed somehow. Those companies even lobby against providing EADs that will allow the employees to ditch them immediately.
Coupang Level? What is the comp range for Sr.Dir and VP? Thanks!
What exactly are you trying to say bro? I read the post five times but no comprehendo…
What's your leveling in coupang?
The life of an Indian is pathetic, getting discriminated is not enough in other parts of the world- they have no place in their own country or people of their own. Sometimes, I see posts here and think about what kind of people we live amidst who can’t treat another human with respect and dignity. I feel so pathetic.
With such pathetic writing skills if you were L8 at Amazon then we are truly doomned and i want to jump out of the window
