Hello, I'm new here, so I'll start by saying that I'm a new graduate with a computer engineering degree and a math minor. I'm looking for Android Engineer/Developer positions, and came across ones at #infosys & #cognizant I do have alot of projects under my belt, very good ones including hackathon & NASA winners. But to be honest I suck at doing LC challenges. I understand the stigma, but right now I'm just looking for a place to start and make money while I prepare for interviews at better places. Any help is appreciated, open to suggestions for other as well. YOE: 1 year TC: 85k #referral
Honest suggestion don’t join staffing companies !
Can you elaborate?
Work on your coding skills ! Just do LC, you will end up in very good company and you will settle early in life .. these companies works with client for lesser money and they give you peanuts…
Infy is going to be giving you 60k max are you okay with that?
I didn know infosys pay this less
I heard that cognizant is not doing h-1b transfer. I wanted to apply. Is this true?
All these service based companies are a pile of shit. Don't give up on LC. It may take some time but eventually you will be able to solve the problems with constant practice. I was previously working for a product based company and can feel the difference every single day the rot these companies are.
Where are u now?
I have started practicing LC, but as we all know it takes time. So at the moment I want a stable income while I prepare.
Don't join Cognizant. I would suggest try for product based companies.
Is it that bad all of cognizant employees saying not to? It's just a starter place until I get my LC all mastered.
