https://www.theinformation.com/articles/instacart-cuts-staff-curbs-hiring-in-run-up-to-ipo Any more data, was eng included?
Which 3k is the key here.
So how many people were actually laid off / PIPed
No one knows. The rumour is that hiring staff was reduced. But hard to actually get that number. The total staff count didn't change much on a month to month basis. But may be that's because of acquisitions. But then, they are small groups. A lot of this is just hot air balloons before a "potential" IPO.
Why in the world are the going public rn
Probably because they need money and can't do another round of funding
Because it’s the only recourse they have. Imagine the timing on this Lmao.
Oh that was sure to happen. They continue to lie there won’t be any layoffs but here it goes.
Oh boy, I didn't realize my 0% tips hurt the business so much
I know someone who joined Instacart recently and made a big post about joining 🤧 That’s why I think beating drums when joining a company should be discouraged
IPO road show
3k let go is 👀
Note said they have 3k workers, not that they fired 3k
LOL, that's blind's BS.
