I have offers for Senior Software position from both Instacart and Apple. The TC for both is similar (~350k). Any advice as to which offer should I go with? On one side, thereโs the brand of Apple and on the other side Instacart is pre IPO and the work seems exciting Current TC ๐ฅ YOE 7 years
Go for a job that excites you. Don't do a boring job as you probably won't do well of getting bored out.
Apple way safer.
What's the RSU structure? I heard Instacart is adopting Stripe's RSU structure?
I think till sometime last week they were still giving out RSU units. Itโs suppose to change going forward.
That's unfortunate, not sure we are supposed to keep attract good talents.

Is Linkedin worth joining now?
Going ipo is a great experience. Youโll learn a lot and move really fast. I would go that route for the experience and for the potential upside. Then go to apple once you want a more chill job.
Getting rich is probably a great experience. I don't know how much potential upside still exists ahead of the IPO Apart from that, you have to add a lot of new processes for SOX compliance. Is that what you mean?
Things like that. The company will have to move fast to do a lot of things at once. It challenges you and teaches you a lot.
