i have an offer to buy an instagram account for 50k. Top country-USA 80%, Canada2 %, Uk 2% wondering if its worth the investment to buy and monetize. 70%male and 30% female followers. Niche: aggressive sport pranks. Engament rate 6%. video post-up to 800k views. 100k likes 3k comments. plan is to purchase. Rebrand and monetize might loose some followers but will continue to provide valuable content then generate revenue from ads and product sale for followers(drop shipping) let me know what you guys think
Target revenue is aggressive 20k monthly conservative 10k monthly. Account not fully monetized. Owner can’t post specific type of content as it is against instagrams guidelines that is why the plan is to rebrand the account
How do you monetize it?
I doubt anyone would sell you a business that could easily pay for itself in 2-5 months
Which movie or show is this from?
Sales to target followers and ads while still providing content to keep followers engaged
How are you going to monetize? Sponsorships? Keep in mind you’re a ban away from being out $50K
Dumb AF. If a “conservative” estimate is 10k/mth, they’d just wait five months to get that 50k.
Bwahahaha, $10k/mo comes from an estimate to sell that stuff in 5 months to some schmuck for 50 large.
I would ask for total lifetime revenue in that account, and also split that by month. Forget stats like avg. The other part is potential which you might be a better judge of. If 10k per month is lower end of the estimate, why sell for 50k? Check around to see if other people are pwning off IG accounts, maybe advertisers are pulling out given zucks shenanigans
What is this a real business? How do you know the account followers are real?
It's a scam if they can't prove followers aren't fake or prove revenue numbers.
How does ROI look like? How much is the account making right now? And if it's positive cashflow , why is it on the market? .
