Instagram employees: is it actually possible to recover a hacked business account?

A friend reached out to get help recovering her businesses Instagram account which was hacked. Some dude in Russia demanding money to give it back. This is her small business’ account and having it in this hijacked State is costing her lots of money she can’t afford and she’s on the brink of paying the ransom which she also can’t afford. I think ok, I’ll hand hold her through the account recovery process. Turns out it involves emailing a support line that is notorious for never responding to you. Googling about it and looking at the official Instagram account on Facebook it looks like this is a huge problem for lots of people, and they can’t figure out how to get Instagram to respond or restore accounts. I’ve even reached out to some FB friends to try to escalate her ticket to get her account back. No response or update. Any kind Instagrammers able and willing to help?
