What benefits does Intel have for full time workers? I know only the 50$ towards internet! But Levels.fyi lists out a bunch! Anything else Iโm missing here? ๐
free fruit is true, one piece per day. free food is false, never seen free meal at Santa Clara (HQ) and San Jose sites. foundation drink is free. HDHP is free but with much higher deductible. 401k match is 5%
The $50/month for internet isn't exactly as generous as it sounds. I've discussed with my manager and his manager as well. They get pretty stingy on it, asking you to calculate and separate out how much bandwidth you use during work hours and split amongst how many people are in your household. It ends up being like $5. You're entitled to filling out an expense report but it's almost not even worth the trouble.
I hv been getting $50 per month pretty easily ...Seems like your management is stingy ...
Better than $25 that Qualcomm gave for an year and half of COVID. They even stopped that 6 months ago.

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Intel is offering free food now? Or is it just for bay area?
Yes, two free meals and one fruit per day since Covid started. But if you are cheap enough you can always have more because nobody check.
For Santa Clara, it was only when the campus was under "Phase 1" where they were stricter about covid. Once we moved to Phase 2/3 they got rid of it, but at some point they went back to Phase 1 when the delta variant was rapid. Lasted a few months and went back to Phase 2/3.
