I received an offer from Intel (non engineering). It is <10% higher than my current TC. Would someone from Intel be willing to share how much they pay for their benefits and other perks they might offer? My recruiter would only share with me the benefits guide that doesn’t have the cost breakdowns. If they have other things like meal subsidies or something would love to know as well. Thank you! Current TC: 260k
What is grade ? And location
Think really carefully about joining Intel right now.
Perks == one piece of free fruit per employee
Oh, I didn't know that. I normally take whatever I want. Will I get laid off next?
Free fruit, sabbatical, remote/hybrid work options. Other benefits are standard across the industry.
Meal subsidies lol. You can get a free fruit.
Healthcare is covered by Intel but it's high deductible. 401k is suspended from austerity but will eventually resume. Offices have decent cafeterias, priced generally OK. No meal subsidies I've ever heard of.
Thank you! Someone finally helped answer my question. How about if I have dependents? Would Intel pay for their premiums too? Do they not offer, for instance, Kaiser HMO plans?
Op, you can Google to find the “Intel US health and benefits guide” which will show the cost breakdown explicitly. https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/central-libraries/us/en/documents/2022-06/us-health-benefits-guide-or.pdf
For family of 4, I have 5500 deductible with Blue Cross. You can get 5000 deductible with Stanford. (Ballpark). There is no monthly premium and you can deposit 7K in HSA account. Sabbatical is another good perk if you plan to stay longer. 10% ESPP 2.5% 401k match On-site gym + trainer if site has gym and you go to office. Personal financial advisor with Fidelity
YOE ?
Role ?
No perks and dull offices and colleagues. Why would you want to switch for <10%?
Switching for 10% or less is crazy! Don’t do it
