Intel Offer?
I had virtual on-site with intel and before receiving any official decision from recruiter or hiring manager, I got an email for background check. Does that mean I will receive an offer soon or just common Intel practice? TC - 170k #Intel
Not sure why you are coming from Apple to Intel. But to answer your question, yes you are most likely getting an offer.
I am just interviewing to get multiple offers. Most likely not going to join Intel. Interview went well but wasn’t sure about this background check email.
Intel has been giving out better offers recently, so maybe you will be surprised. But yea, it’s still not comparable to Apple TC.

Apple folks speaking shit now will come licking in bunches if Intel pays well because Apple folks give an impression that they are in the best place to work but they all know they are siloed with what they do, toxic WLB , poor flexibility and many more. Most of the FAANG hardware engineers are from Intel. If Intel pays well why would someone work in shitty companies like Apple, Amazon ? Google, Intel, Nvidia are the best overall with Intel too stepping up their TC. Microsoft next.
