Any of former or current Intel employees familiar with the sabbatical policy? Say you had achieved 4 years of service with Intel & decided to leave Intel, but had not yet redeemed your earned sabbatical. Will Intel pay you out the time earned when you leave? Asking for a friend… #semiconductor #Intel #sabbatical
Sabbatical is an earned entitlement. Gets paid everywhere. Only in CA it is paid prorated even before completion of 4 yrs. Have ur friend check employee handbook or check with Ask IVY (HR bot)
☝️☝️☝️☝️ They changed the rules, it was use it or lose it earlier in OR / AZ / NM etc but now they have to pay it out if you are eligible.
Any friends or evidence of this?
They have a whole website dedicated to this with a section for sabbatical: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/employee/leaving-intel.html
@tc you’re like a HR/COMPENSATION library! 🙏🏻
