Intel WFH benefits
I am joining intel in a couple of weeks and wondering if there are still WFH benefits. Please enlighten. Thanks #intel
There is a small amount offered for home office and internet expenses, although some of that might have expired by now.
I joined in first week of December. They gave me monitor, keyboard, mouse, headphone and on top of that gave me $500 for chair and $500 dollor for other office equipment. Internet reimburment is 50$ per month.
Awesome. They sent a monitor of their choice or you were able to choose it?
Monthly internet reimbursement of $50? I get $30.
They selected it but got it from Amazon (cost $220). So I guess if you like something different you can suggest it. Even for headphones she showed the most popular one in ($30-$50) dollor range but gave me an option to select something different, so I guess it will be applicable for monitor too.
GoTo//itdm and see accessories in there. There are speakerphones and wireless headsets you can order upon your bosses approval.

$500 on office equipment, separate budget for ergo chair that will be purchased from their supplier, up to $50 Wi-Fi allowance

Ask in the interview whether Intel is going to pay $250 for furnitures or $30 for internet bills for a $270k job? I had more important questions to ask in that short time. Haha
