Hi, I got verbal offer from Intel around 10 days ago but they didn't tell me the rough number. I have asked them multiple times but they are saying team is working on that. They already took lot of documents. Still they are not ready to give me salary number verbally . Is it common process at Intel ,I understand offer letter takes time, but why they are not sharing number verbally?
I was waiting for my offer for about 14 days after verbal offer (email from manager). Just be patient, if manager told you they will hire you, then they will. They also didn't give me any rough estimate...recruiter will call you and give you numbers, so relax

Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
I believe that Intel has the slowest hiring process on the planet. Excuse used to be that they were too overloaded, but that can't be the case now with the hiring slow down. It must be stuck in approval loop. Keep pushing and start to sound a bit impatient.
Yes they gave me same reason that staffing team is busy. I am not asking offer letter but only rough estimate, is it ok to be pushy in that?
Even the initial numbers have to go through the approval. I would just say "hey, I am starting to get concerned as it has been a long time since I've heard from you. Wondering if the offer is still coming..." Or whatever If you want to press it more you can say that you have an interview somewhere else or you think you should take another interview ... Make them think that if they don't reply soon then they could lose you. Without being too over the top. That usually gets things moving. You need to put some pressure on to get them to send the "urgent, I need this now" message.
