Heard news that Intel is freezing hiring. Anyone can please share more info? I accepted an offer and plan to join in first week of August Thanks
Hiring is being slowed down. You have a confirmed offer and nothing to be worried about at all. No offers will be rescinded.
Not in all groups. Re-prioritizing going on.
I also have an offer but it’s been over a week without any update from the intel immigration team. They took all the necessary documents last month.
Take it easy they take sometime to get back
Do you ask for immigration benefits confirmation before accepting the offer?
Do fab operations fall under client computing group?
How about the PSG group?
I have a technical screen scheduled this week. Am I doomed?
Not really man, you never know. I will say just go on with it at the very least you will get experience.
As far as I know - offers that have been extended will be honoured. Which is what we're doing in our team + we're also interviewing for a lot of open positions. The guidance is to review if additional hiring is necessary + reduce other non-critical business expenses like projects/travel etc.
Thanks for the info
