Even if you don't, the amount spent will show up on your pay slip with grossed up amount.
What is grossed up amount?
If you are paid 100$ then it will show up in the payslip as 130$ if tax rate is 30%. T if that 30 will be shown as tax paid by company so you don't have to pay anything in there 100. The 130 is defined as grossup
I think if you ask for cash out... It will be some fixed amount...I don't be think you can negotiate on that

Depends on grade level, no.of people in family and distance you are relocating.
Grade 7, 2 people, distance 2000 miles, moving within USA.
Not sure how much it would be for domestic moves

Look on circuit and search for relocation. There is a public site that details all the numbers and everything for you...
Remember you have to pay taxes on that. Generally if you don't move lots of furnitures and multiple cars, cash out might be better.

I got $9800 for 1 person and over 2500 miles. They didn’t give me a directly billed or a combo option at all. Prob because I didn’t own a house. So after taxes that was $5K and that barely covered movers, shipping the car and the plane ticket. However they let me work from the other office until I move. They also paid for a trip to Boston area to meet the entire team and also to find an apartment. Very flexible when it comes to things like that. They treated that trip as a usual business trip with paid meals and hotel etc. Keep in mind the cash option has a 24 month string attached to it. If you leave Intel before then, they’ll prorate what you owe them.
I dont think sirva has negotiated any discounts (for movers etc) i did everythingn myself ans saved tons of $$$.

They will give you an overview of what you will be eligible for...cash pay, reloc, housing, car rental etc
Do I need to arrange everything myself and they pay for it lumpsum or I need to produce receipts?
Typically they have three options where on one end the spectrum it is lump sum and on the other they do everything and give you $1500 or something
