I have an offer from a team at Tesla however I feel I might be a better fit for some other team. I plan on taking the offer and applying internally to the other team few months down the line. I wanted to know how the Tesla culture is about internal applications. Is it very territorial i.e. does it breed resentment within teams and is looked down upon. Or is it very supportive of an employee's interests especially if there is an agreement between them and the prospective team.
You won’t even be able to apply to another position for 1 year. Culture depends on team/org. Some allow and hold no hard feelings, some will put you on a 6 month title+pay freeze, others will find a reason to pip/exit you
@Tesla, do referrals help?
